Homemade moisturising recipes for winter
The age old beauty secrets from your granny’s kitchen can still make you look young and fresh throughout the cold and dry weather synonymous to winters. 3 such home-made moisturisers.
Turn towards turmeric
The winter climate leads to clogged skin pores, thereby not letting the moisture penetrate into your skin. This leads to rough and ageing skin. Get a moisturiser that can protect the youthfulness of your skin while making it glow. Mix some turmeric in fresh milk and apply it on cleansed face. Rinse after 10-15 minutes and watch your skin look renewed and ready to combat the harsh weather.
Get some apples, honey!
Ever thought of using an apple for your beauty regime? Enriched with Vitamin C, this fruit mixed with natural humectants like honey turns out to be a great skin moisturiser during winters. To make the most of the fruit, simply dip the apple slices in some honey and rub it on your skin till only the peel is remaining. Let it dry off for 20 minutes and rinse off to unlock healthy and fresh looking skin.
Peach placid
Peaches are stuffed with skin benefits and during the freezing climate these come handy for moisturising your dry skin. Make a pulp from two peaches and to it add some coconut oil, almond oil and rose water. Blend it well and store in a refrigerator for at least 20 hours. Apply before bath for flawless results.
